There's a reason Phillyhiphop.com has offered its mixtape DJ crown the past two years to Hip Hop's jack-of-all-trades. The reason is simply Meddafore's ability to piece together a disc full of exclusive, street-level tracks from the Crown Rulers to the rising stars of the game today, all done in a unique, modest fashion without echo chamber voice over and random shout outs throughout each joint. Although the title of his latest mix is The War is Over, this mix tape vet doesn't seem to be letting his guns down just yet with a disc full of heat that'll make any competition head for their bunkers.

Forever Fam's presence on this mix is stronger than ever, with the Fam's spotlight MC, Splitt, holding it down on the hosting tip. Splitt's presence is known throughout the mix as he shines on several, incredible freestyles. If the freestyles weren't enough to hold you over, Splitt recruited fellow Fam member and vocal powerhouse Shannon Swain to redo his already dope, Twisted. One of the highlights on the mix is the exclusive, for Meddafore only, Six Figures by Ras Kass and Skillz. The song is preceded by a personalized Skillz drop for Meddafore which introduces the song as an exclusive, you can only hear it here first deal. Jinx da Juvy's Project Hallways is a breakout track for the artist who hosted the last Meddy mix. Other notable exclusives are F@ck A Hook by Royce da 5'9", Race by Drag-On and F.T. with Not Playin Witcha. Also included is my favorite summer commercial banger, Ma Ma Ma by Joe Budden featuring 112.

Overall, Meddafore has managed to release another mix you can play straight through and ride out to on a hot summer day. Props to Med and be on the lookout for his latest mix dropping soon.
