With all the recent buzz and hype about Phillyhiphop.com's back-to-back Mixtape king, Meddafore, his latest project could have easily been titled, Let Em Know 4,000,000: Against The Grain, for the countless times he has let "us" in the past year or so through interviews,mixtape nominations, and parallel comparisons to most major heavy hitters in the mixtape arena.

Meddafore instead, modestly titled the newest mixtape Let Em Know 4: Against The Grain. Either way you look at it, this brother has some of the illest, exclusive packed discs to hit the streets and this, his latest release, is by far his best to date.

Never forgetting family, in true Meddafore fashion, the disc jumps off with Forever Fam members Shannon Swain and Splitt holding down the intro, both showing and proving their outstanding abilities on the mic. The mix features, as always, maaaaad exclusives, including the newest gem from Redman featuring production by Eminem, Ladies by Juelz Santana of the Diplomats fame, and Rap Name Pt. 2 by Obie Trice and Keith Murray. Med also has some tracks from some cats we haven't heard from in a minute, such as Drag-On (Holla), Pras andSheek ( One For My Ni&#@z), and PCP on the M.I.C. with his witty diss to Ex-Arrakis affiliate Uncle T, titled Ground Pork. Beyonce's latest smash, Crazy In Love (featuring Jay-Z) also finds a spot here, which may seem out of the ordinary to find an R&B track on a Meddafore mix, but the sick beat plus Jay's bars are enough to validate the decision (its one of my favorite joints on the mixtape).

Let Em Know 4 is one of those mixes that couldn't be more timely for the summer months. The energy of this mixtape is definitely for the hot summer days, where you let the windows (or top) down and put the volume up. Meddafore is a big winner once again!
