DJ Skipmode and emcee Mighty Flipside are collectively known as Electric City. These brothers have been honing their craft for years and show off some of that musical savvy on the strong sounds of E City Rox The Blok.

Simply stated, E City Rox The Blok is entertaining Hip Hop from a cultural perspective. The reverence this dynamic duo have for the art's history is clearly evident in their party vibe stylings. They manage to keep their sound fresh while taking this wacky industry back to basics. Remember when it was all about a DJ and Emcee working together? Electric City bring you back to those Philadelphia glory days with this song. The production, real live scratches (imagine that) and mixdown are top notch. Flipside's rhymes are complex and well snycopated yet mesh effortlessly with the head noddin instrumentation that is more than deserving of serious mixtape attention.

At the end of the day, isn't all we ask for is quality Hip Hop? Well we've found it in Electric City. 215 represent.
